The Project
MicroCyber aims to develop and disseminate innovative digital skills, with a particular focus on Cybersecurity, targeting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.
MicroCyber will offer specific services to assess the level of digital maturity – and more specifically, cybersecurity maturity – in order to build customized training and capacity-building pathways for its target audiences.
Another key objective of MicroCyber is to support Public Administrations at all levels in developing knowledge and skills in cybersecurity, including assistance in adapting to the policies and best practices defined by the National Cybersecurity Agency, and guidance in sourcing resources and services available on the market.
MicroCyber operates in eight regions of Southern Italy: Abruzzo, Calabria, Sicily, Apulia, Sardinia, Campania, Basilicata, and Molise.

Specific Objectives:
To ensure that the level of digitalization of SMEs and Public Administrations in Southern Italy is secure and compatible with the new global economic scenario;
To support and facilitate digitalization processes in Southern Italy, maximizing the impact of investments in technological development from the NRRP, Structural Funds, REACT-EU, CIS, ZLS, etc.;
To equip the entire SME sector with the necessary skills, tools, and methodologies to improve market positioning while minimizing technological risks;
To promote greater awareness among small and micro economic operators of the need to introduce reliable and secure digital innovations, and to offer support throughout this innovation journey;
To overcome the digital divide, considering the significant gap between Italian SMEs in general and the average of European enterprises.
